Description

Want to experience white water up close? With hydrospeed in Savoie, there’s no boat: you ride down the river lying on a float board, fins on your feet, right at wave level. It’s the ideal descent for a first experience, through the Centron gorges.

The activity takes place on the Isère, in Savoie, about 2 hours from Lyon. You make your own way there, then shuttles take you to the start and bring you back after the descent.

The route is suitable for beginners. It alternates between rapids and calmer stretches, giving you time to get the hang of your float board and master the basics of white-water swimming. About 1 hour 15 minutes in the water, for sensations very different from rafting.

The activity is open to anyone aged 14 and over, provided they can swim and are comfortable in the water. All the necessary equipment is provided, and a qualified instructor accompanies you throughout the descent.

Available in summer, from €77, hydrospeed is an outing with friends full of spray and laughter, and an original gift idea for thrill-seekers.
