Description
Looking for a bachelor party that really gets off the beaten track? With Taka Bivouac, your 24-hour mountain adventure near Lyon takes you far from the noise and screens. A hike, a sunset and a night under the stars — pure adventure at its most authentic.
The adventure starts at Col du Granier in Savoie, around two hours from Lyon. Once you’re up there, the breathtaking views make every step of the climb worthwhile.
But reaching the summit takes effort! You’ll hike 8 km with a backpack and tackle 800 metres of elevation gain on the way up. This adventure is designed for reasonably fit hikers who are ready to embrace a minimalist approach to comfort.
Your state-certified mountain guide will lead the way from start to finish, taking care of the route, setting up camp, dinner and breakfast. Along the way, you’ll discover local wildlife, plant life and wide-open mountain landscapes.
Limited to 8 participants and available from May to October (excluding July and August), this small-group adventure with friends promises the groom-to-be a truly unforgettable experience, far removed from everyday life.
- Maximum group size: 8 participants
Please note that this adventure requires a fair amount of personal equipment: a 40-litre backpack, hiking boots, trekking poles, a headlamp, warm and waterproof clothing, and more. You’ll find the full packing list in the FAQ below. Unlike our other bachelor party activities, this experience requires a good level of hiking fitness.
