Description

A map, a backpack, a few clues… and may the best team win!

Looking for a bachelor party activity that gets everyone’s legs moving as much as their brains? With Taka Express, our bachelor party treasure hunt in Lyon, the groom-to-be’s crew splits into teams and sets off to conquer the city, map in hand. The route starts and finishes in Old Lyon, with a walking trail that takes you through the Presqu’île district and up to Croix-Rousse.

Along the way, you’ll discover the iconic landmarks of Lyon, as well as hidden gems showcasing the city’s traditional craftsmanship — the kind of treasures you rarely notice as you walk by. At each checkpoint, an activity leader will be waiting with a challenge inspired by Lyon’s local culture. How many challenges are there, and what are they? We’ll keep that a surprise.

Fun, rated 2/5 in difficulty, and available all year round, this unique activity in Lyon is perfect for groups of adult friends, with a minimum of 6 participants. And if your group has 10 or more people, the groom-to-be takes part for free.

Good to know

The activity is designed for adults aged 18 and over and requires a minimum of 6 participants, with no upper limit — making it ideal for large groups. Please note that last-minute cancellations are subject to restrictions: participants who drop out cannot receive a refund less than 10 days before the event.

How the activity works

1

📍 Participant check-in

Upon arrival, participants are welcomed by their activity leader, who introduces the activity, divides them into teams, and gives a general briefing explaining how the activity will work.
2

🎯 Let the Adventure Begin!

The adventure kicks off with a first challenge to determine the teams’ starting order. Teams then set off along the route at staggered intervals, depending on how well they perform.
3

🔎 Observation, Challenges & Race!

Teams explore each area of the course independently, answering observation-based questions and taking on a range of challenges along the way. At the entrance and exit of each area, an activity leader will be waiting to put them to the test with a challenge that helps them move on to the next stage of the adventure.
4

🏆 Awards Ceremony

The final rankings are based on the points earned throughout the adventure for correct answers and completed challenges. Speed counts too: the first teams to reach the final zone earn bonus points, which could make all the difference in the final standings.
