Dreaming of an outing that doesn’t stop at the first bend? The 5-hour quad trek in Lyon is made for lovers of long-distance adventure. Five hours to eat up the kilometres of trails, tackle one technical section after another and collect panoramic views.
Your starting point: south-west Lyon, a 15-minute drive from the city centre. Private grounds serve as the base for your introductory session, before you head off on a long exploration of the surrounding area.
Whether you’re driving or riding as a passenger, a professional instructor keeps a close eye on you. To drive, you must be 18 or over and hold a driving licence. To ride on the back, you just need to be 10. An adventure to share with friends, as a couple or with family, for those who like to take their time… and cover some distance.
Before setting off, please bring a €4,000 security deposit cheque, which is only used in the event of damage to the equipment. The quad and protective gear are included.
An outing of this scale naturally includes a meal break: traditional inn, local cuisine or picnic, to be arranged with us. The meal is at extra cost.

Just like on the road, not a single drop of alcohol is allowed before taking the controls. As a meal is essential on a 5-hour outing, book it at the same time as your trek. Don’t forget your driving licence, the security deposit cheque, long-sleeved clothing suited to the weather and closed-toe shoes.

Is the meal included?
No, it is not included in the price, but it is compulsory for outings longer than 3 hours. You can choose between a traditional inn, local cuisine or a picnic: contact us to discuss it.
How much is the 5-hour quad trek?
From €340 per driver and €155 per passenger, i.e. €495 for a quad shared by two, meal at extra cost. Equipment and guiding are included.
Who can drive the quad?
Anyone aged 18 or over who holds a driving licence. Passengers can take part from the age of 10.
Can the trek be cancelled because of the weather?
Yes, if conditions make it unsafe to ride. Your gift voucher is then automatically carried over, free of charge.
How do I book the 5-hour trek?
Bookings cannot be made online: contact Tanguy on 04 78 79 28 13 or at lyon@takamaka.fr to set the date and arrange your meal. You can book on your own.
Can I give a 5-hour quad trek as a gift?
Of course, with a gift voucher valid for 1 year, sent immediately by email (or by post for €2). If the outing cannot go ahead for reasons beyond the recipient’s control, the voucher is renewed free of charge.
