Description
This isn’t just a ride anymore, it’s a proper trek. The 4-hour quad trek in Lyon takes you on a real half-day away from it all: dirt tracks, technical sections, panoramic views and a meal break to recharge your batteries.
The starting point is south-west of Lyon, a 15-minute drive from the city centre. An introductory session on private grounds builds your confidence, then the adventure unfolds along the trails of the region.
Whether you’re driving or riding as a passenger, a professional instructor guides you from the first kilometre to the last. Drivers must be 18 or over and hold a driving licence, and passengers can come along from the age of 10. A great way to share a long outing with friends, family or that special someone.
Before setting off, please bring a €4,000 security deposit cheque, which is only used in the event of damage to the equipment. The quad and protective gear are provided.
For outings longer than 3 hours, a meal is part of the experience. Traditional inn, local cuisine or picnic: choose your option with us. The meal is not included in the price.

How much does a 4-hour quad trek cost?
From €285 for the driver and €130 for the passenger, i.e. €415 for a quad shared by two, meal not included. The quad, equipment and guiding are included.
Do you need a licence to drive?
Yes, drivers must be 18 or over and hold a driving licence. Passengers are welcome from the age of 10.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather makes it unsafe to ride, we may cancel the outing. Your gift voucher is then automatically carried over, at no extra cost.
How do I book?
There is no online booking for this activity: contact Tanguy on 04 78 79 28 13 or at lyon@takamaka.fr. You can book on your own, with no minimum number of participants, and choose your meal at the same time.
Can I give a quad trek as a gift?
Yes, in the form of a gift voucher valid for 1 year, sent by email as soon as you purchase it (or by post for €2). If the trek cannot take place for reasons beyond the recipient’s control, the voucher is renewed free of charge.
