Is the groom-to-be an adventure seeker? Taka Lanta is our take on a bachelor party adventure challenge in Lyon. Your group splits into rival tribes and heads into the great outdoors in Vernaison, just a 15-minute drive from Lyon.
Get ready for challenges that push you out of your comfort zone, test your balance and endurance, and put your survival skills to the test as you build a makeshift camp. Every victory earns points. At the end, only one tribe will lift the totem and claim victory!
Available all year round, Taka Lanta is the perfect outdoor activity near Lyon for a group of friends looking for laughs, teamwork, and a healthy dose of competition. A minimum of 6 participants is required, and the groom-to-be takes part for free for groups of 10 or more.

- Build a makeshift shelter: Build the best shelter you can using whatever materials are available.
- Insect tasting challenge: The iconic challenge everyone will still be talking about at the wedding!
- The pole challenge: Stay standing for as long as possible to rack up points.
- The obstacle course: A must-have challenge for any adventure worth its name.
- Orienteering challenge: Find the checkpoints and solve the riddles along the way.
Taka Lanta 3-hour experience — from €65 per person
Want to extend the adventure? For just €10 more per person, you can add an extra hour of challenges. The extended programme includes the water rescue challenge, where teams must transport water from one point to another using a system of channels. The orienteering challenge is also longer, bringing even more suspense to the adventure!

You’ll be split into two tribes to compete against each other in a series of challenges!
As the activity takes place outdoors, we recommend wearing comfortable sportswear that covers your arms and legs (long trousers and a long-sleeved top), so you can throw yourself into every challenge without holding back.
At the end of the activity, the groom-to-be or bride-to-be will receive a totem to mark the occasion!

The activity takes place outdoors in Vernaison, just a 15-minute drive from Lyon. Participants are responsible for making their own way to the venue.
When can you book these bachelor party games?
The activity is available all year round, on your preferred date and time, subject to availability. The challenges remain the same whatever the season. We recommend booking early to get your preferred slot, although last-minute bookings may also be possible.
How much does Taka Lanta cost?
Prices start at €55 per person for the 2-hour experience and €65 per person for the 3-hour experience. For groups of 10 or more, the groom-to-be takes part for free. For example, if there are 10 of you, you only pay for 9 people.
How many people are needed to take part?
A minimum of 9 participants is required, with no upper limit. Teams are divided into tribes based on the size of your group.
Do you have to eat insects?
No, taking part is entirely optional. However, it’s one of the highlights of the activity, so we highly encourage you to give it a try! If there’s any concern about a potential allergy, the tasting challenge will simply be skipped.
What should you wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable sportswear that covers your arms and legs, such as long trousers and a long-sleeved top. You’ll take part in all the challenges in one go, so there’s no need to bring a change of clothes.

What Happens if It Rains or Someone Cancels?
In case of rain, we’ll decide together whether to go ahead with an adapted activity, reschedule if possible, or cancel and issue a refund. Participants who can no longer attend can receive a refund up to 10 days before the event, but not after that.
Can You Give Taka Lanta as a Gift?
Yes! You can give Taka Lanta as a gift with a voucher valid for 1 year. It’s delivered instantly by email (or by post for €2), and the recipient can book their activity using the 6-digit code.
