Fancy playing with water and rock for a summer afternoon? Canyoning at Angon near Annecy is the perfect gateway into the world of canyoning. On the programme: 2 hours 30 minutes of natural water slides, jumps into pools and abseils down waterfalls.
The canyon is located in Angon, above Lake Annecy, about 1 hour 30 minutes from Lyon. You make your own way to the meeting point, then a walk-in of around twenty minutes takes you to the start.
This route is designed for beginners. It includes 3 abseils (6, 8 and 18 m), several slides and 2 jumps of 3 and 5 m, depending on conditions. Good news for the less daring: the jumps are optional and can all be bypassed.
The activity is open to anyone aged 8 and over, provided they can swim and are reasonably fit. Full equipment is provided (harness, helmet, neoprene wetsuit…), and a qualified instructor leads the group, adapting the pace to everyone.

You can purchase online, but the date cannot be booked on the website. Contact Tanguy on 04 78 79 28 13 or at lyon@takamaka.fr. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, your gift voucher is automatically carried over, free of charge.
Can I give a canyoning outing as a gift?
Yes, in the form of a gift voucher valid for 1 year, sent immediately by email (or by post for €2). If the activity cannot take place for reasons beyond the recipient’s control, the voucher is renewed free of charge.
