The Old Lyon Treasure Hunt is a hybrid experience combining the mechanics of an outdoor escape game with an urban treasure hunt.
Participants are divided into teams and set off to explore the historic district along their own custom investigation route. While every team visits the same key sights, they do so in a different order. Routes are deliberately staggered to prevent groups from following one another, ensuring a more dynamic and immersive experience.
Throughout the adventure, participants must solve a variety of puzzles using clues from their surroundings—ranging from crosswords and observation games to connect-the-dots, logic riddles, and calculations based on details hidden throughout Old Lyon.

Participants explore Old Lyon at their own pace while working together to answer the questions and discover the city’s heritage.
Is the activity supervised by an instructor?
Our team welcomes the participants and provides the briefing before the start of the activity. The rally is then completed independently, allowing participants to enjoy a collaborative and immersive experience. At the end of the course, the teams meet back with the facilitator for a closing session, including the review of answers, the announcement of results, and the prize-giving ceremony.
Do you need to have prior knowledge of Lyon to take part?
No, no previous knowledge is required. The rally is designed to be accessible to everyone: participants simply need to observe their surroundings, look for clues, and use their teamwork skills to answer the questions.
Can additional challenges be added ?
Yes, absolutely! You can add extra challenges to boost your experience and tailor it to your needs. Options include a introduction to boule lyonnaise (a local lawn bowling game), a regional product tasting, or a fun quiz to extend those bonding moments and strengthen team spirit.
