How the activity works

1

📍 Welcome desk

Participants are welcomed by our instructors and introduced to the concept of the activity. Teams are created, and everyone receives the instructions needed to start the culinary challenge.
2

👃🏻 Food quiz and flavour discovery

Before firing up the kitchen, teams kick things off with a buzzer quiz on food and cooking, where quick thinking and culinary knowledge earn points. Next, they put their noses to the test in a flavour and aroma challenge, identifying familiar scents to help their team score points.
3

🧑🏻‍🍳 Let’s get cooking!

Let the creativity flow! Using a selection of pre-determined ingredients, each team designs and creates its own dishes, working on cutting techniques, food combinations, and presentation, with guidance from a professional chef in a traditional white chef’s jacket. Roles are divided among team members: one group prepares the starter, another the main course, and the final group takes care of dessert. The goal? To create dishes that are as delicious as they are beautifully presented, while letting everyone’s imagination run wild!
4

🏆 The Judges’ Verdict

Time for the judges’ verdict! Once the dishes are beautifully plated, the judges assess each creation, evaluating its presentation, originality, and attention to detail. The top-performing teams are then rewarded for their creativity and the quality of their culinary creations.
5

🍴 Forks at the ready!

It’s time to taste! After all that hard work, it’s time to enjoy the rewards! The teams come together to sample each other’s creations, sharing a convivial moment and savouring the fruits of their labour. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover everyone’s dishes, exchange impressions, and enjoy this delicious culinary experience together.
