Fancy a holiday vibe for your bachelor party? With the Lyon Bachelor Party Beach Party, your crew swaps city streets for the beach at Grand Large lake in Meyzieu, just 15 minutes from central Lyon. Get ready for 2 hours of team beach games, barefoot from start to finish.
No lounging on your beach towel here! Teams alternate between two challenges on the sand and two on the water: sumo wrestling, a dizzying obstacle course, a stand-up paddle relay and kayak polo.
Strength, balance, skill or simply a good laugh: every round shakes things up. And the groom-to-be? He’s expected to give it his all in every challenge!
Perfect for a fun day out with friends in Lyon when the weather’s warm, this activity runs from April to October and is available for groups of 9 or more. With 10 or more participants, the groom-to-be takes part for free.

Where does the Lyon Bachelor Party Beach Party take place?
On the beach at Grand Large lake in Meyzieu, just 15 minutes from central Lyon. Participants make their own way to the meeting point.
When can we book the Beach Party?
From April to October, on your preferred date, subject to availability, with morning and afternoon sessions available. It’s best to book in advance during peak season, but last-minute bookings may still be possible.
How does the activity work?
Over two hours, teams take on two beach challenges (sumo wrestling and an obstacle course wearing simulation goggles), followed by two water-based challenges (a stand-up paddle relay and kayak polo). An awards ceremony brings the activity to a close.

Because it combines friendly competition with a holiday vibe. The variety of challenges gives everyone a chance to shine, both on the sand and in the water. The activity can be hosted in English, and the groom-to-be is welcome to wear a costume if he feels like it.
How much does the Lyon Bachelor Party Beach Party cost?
Prices start at €59 per person, including refreshments (water, juice and sweets). For groups of 10 or more, the groom-to-be takes part for free.
Is the activity supervised?
Yes, the activity is supervised from start to finish. An activity leader runs the beach challenges, while a certified instructor oversees the stand-up paddle and kayak polo sessions. Life jackets and all the equipment needed for the challenges are provided.
How many participants are needed?
A minimum of 6 participants is required, with no maximum group size. The activity is designed for adults aged 18 and over.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We’ll decide together based on the weather: the activity may go ahead with adjustments, be rescheduled if possible, or be cancelled with a full refund.
How do I book the Beach Party?
Call Tanguy on +33 4 78 79 28 13 or email lyon@takamaka.fr. Payment can be made online, by bank transfer, or by two cheques payable to Takamaka, each covering 50% of the total. The first cheque serves as a deposit, while the second is cashed after the event. If a participant can no longer attend, their place can be refunded up to 10 days before the event. No refunds are available after that deadline.
Can you give the Beach Party as a gift?
Yes! You can purchase a gift voucher valid for one year, delivered instantly by email or by post for an additional €2. The recipient can then book their activity using the six-digit voucher code.
